I know this title sounds like a bold statement, but it comes from a really good book. It’s called “The Risky Business of Being Yourself,” and it’s written by a man named Gary Vaynerchuk. Vaynerchuk is a man who has managed to do things that no one else has ever done before. It is a fascinating read and one I recommend to anyone who is interested in taking action.
I’ll be honest with you. I don’t read Vaynerchuk’s books. I don’t listen to podcasts and I don’t read blogs. In fact I mostly live online. But I have read the book and been following the guy for a while. He is one of the most interesting and inspirational figures I know. He is the type of person who has a deep, dark sense of humor, yet also is able to find humor in the most extreme situations.
I believe it is one of the most important things in life to always be able to laugh at yourself. I don’t mean to be self-deprecating, but he is able to laugh at himself, while at the same time acknowledging the seriousness of his predicament. He was an athlete and his body went to crazy lengths to stay in shape and he lost his mind to the point where he was completely unable to control his body. But that is what keeps him grounded.
Yes, that is correct. A great place to start is by making sure you’re having fun. When you’re in the moment, you are not being self-aware. You are not even aware that you’re being self-aware. You are not even aware that you are trying to be aware of yourself. There is a fine line between just being okay and actually being aware.
So if you’re at risk for a relapse, it’s a good time to start getting on the right path. The riskiest thing you can do is to fall into negative habits. For example, if you’re in the habit of drinking on the weekends, you might drink more on the weekends because your body is just not ready for the alcohol. Then when you get a relapse, your body thinks it’s time to let off steam by going all out.
The riskiest part of being aware is really letting the habits go. That just means that you’re not going to be able to stop the habit, just that you’ll be able to let them go. Even if you want to really be aware, it’s best to just let it happen naturally. Your body’s going to do what it needs to do. If you want to stop drinking, you’ll have to stop drinking.
When youre not consciously aware of your actions, its almost like youre not even aware that you go to bed at night. Its almost like youre not even aware that you eat dinner. Its almost like youre not even aware that you play video games, or even walk to the bathroom. Its almost like youre not even aware that you smoke. Its almost like youre not even aware that you watch TV. Its almost like youre not even aware that you eat.
This is the key. When you drink, you drink. When you eat, you eat. You can’t say that you’re not aware of these actions because you aren’t aware of your actions.
Not all of our actions are conscious, but most of our actions are unconscious. Which is why the conscious mind can’t “see” them. So it’s very possible we’re all walking around on autopilot, but we’re just not aware of it. This is why so many people have mental health issues, because they are often unaware of their actions.
