The concept art for my new home is all my own, I just picked the colors and I’m going to use the sketches I got for the design/build itself to make it really cohesive. Just like the new home itself, it’s going to be a bit messy, but it’s going to stay together really well.
I think this is the first time I’ve ever had any concept art for a project come together as a whole. It might just be me but I’m not really sure.
You might be surprised to hear that I was the first person to submit a concept art proposal for my new home. As I’m sure you can tell, I was an artist before I even had my own business and that just snowballed into the art I do for others. I don’t know how it would have ended up differently for me if I had submitted a concept art proposal, but it just wasn’t my style. I wanted to make my own house, so I did.
The concept arts is a great way to get started with drawing on paper, but that isn’t the only way to get started. You can also use your imagination to come up with a whole world to explore. For example, I used to wonder what the hell my house would look like if I had an entire movie set inside of it. Now I know Ive got a whole movie theater inside of my house.
I can’t think of any other way to get started with your imagination other than drawing. If you use your imagination, you can create things you never imagined possible.

We also recently had the pleasure of seeing the new concept art for Deathloop by our own Dan Lippman, and it was fantastic. I think a lot of people were surprised that the game actually looks very much like a real movie theater. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been looking around the lobby to see if there’s a movie in it.
Deathloop is definitely a big step up from the original game. Deathloop looks as vibrant, and murderous, as ever. It may still have a few problems, like a lack of a few key parts, but the game is definitely a big improvement over the original.
