I am on a mission to bring arts to the Midwest. I believe that this is a huge, huge opportunity to create something of lasting value and that’s why I’m starting 3 Arts Club Chicago. In 3 Arts Club Chicago, I have my heart set on creating a space where art is taught, taught and taught by art.

I know this because I read the history of Chicago Art Institute’s founding in the 80’s, and they were the first school in the world to offer art classes in the city. The 3 Arts Center will be the first city-wide art school with its own gallery, school, and a faculty member.

3 Arts Center is the brainchild of three longtime Chicago artists, the late Chris Hickey, John Kuchek, and Tim Valk. Hickey is the founder and CEO. He’s been a key figure in the art world for the past 20 years, and has led the efforts to establish the 3 Arts Center.
